The Mother of All Data Breach Hacks

How To Check if Your Data Has Been Hacked

We’ll get right to it: first and foremost, if you have a Netflix account, gmail account or LinkedIn account, then we suggest changing your passwords.

In an epic proportion data leak, called the “Compilation of Many Breaches,” or COMB, data including 3.2 billion email-and-password combinations were posted online. It’s not the result of a new hack — instead, these are passwords or keys that had been stolen as part of previous breaches and leaks from companies like Netflix and LinkedIn. The size of this published data set, though, means at least one thing: At least some of your data is almost certainly caught up in this trove.

You can check and see if your email accounts have been posted as part of these recent data breaches that led to the COMB publication. All you need to do is go to this link, and you’ll see a black box with a bar for your email address at the top of the page: https://cybernews.com/personal-data-leak-check/

Experts recommend using 2-factor authentication for password protection.
